What does Member Loyalty Accident Insurance cover?1
Member Loyalty Accident Insurance can help with the following after a covered accident:
Hospital Stays
Receive a cash benefit payment for each day you’re hospitalized, from day one up to 365 days.
ER/Urgent Care Treatment
An annual emergency room and urgent care benefit can be paid for a covered accident.
Recuperation Expenses
Get reimbursed for covered medically prescribed benefits equal to the number of days of covered hospitalization.
Accidental Death
Your beneficiaries can collect a payment on top of any life insurance policies.
AAA wants to help you feel confident about your coverage—and its price. The monthly premium starts at $17 for individuals 18 to 69 years old. For another $4 per month, you can cover your whole family.
If you choose family coverage, your spouse is covered at 60 percent of the primary insured’s benefits and eligible children are covered at 20 percent. Family coverage is guaranteed.
When accidents happen, it gives you an extra boost of protection. Accident coverage helps:
- Provide additional cash support that is separate from medical coverage: Member Loyalty Accident Insurance provides a cash benefit that you can use to pay for expenses that health insurance doesn't fully cover, including deductibles, copays, and out-of-pocket costs—so you can focus on recovery rather than how you’ll pay for care.
- Potentially protect self-employed people and gig workers: If you don’t have paid leave or short-term disability coverage through an employer-sponsored plan, in some cases, Member Loyalty Accident Insurance may help.
- Pay your beneficiaries if you die in a covered accident: If you’ve been a AAA Member for five years and die in an accident covered under Member Loyalty Accident Insurance, your beneficiaries may receive additional payment.
