Mountain West Group Honors the 2026 Service Providers of Excellence and Best in Repair Winners
Recognizing local partners for outstanding service, customer care, and community impact
“Roadside assistance and trusted repair services are among the top reasons people continue to rely on AAA,” said Aldo Vazquez, AAA Mountain West Group spokesperson. “This recognition is a testament to the dependable service, quality work and level of care that these contract stations and approved auto repair facilities provide AAA Members.”

Why Roadside Safety Matters
As AAA celebrates these outstanding partners, it also reminds drivers that the roadside is a workplace—and everyone has a role to play in keeping it safe. Roadside technicians, tow providers, emergency responders, and stranded motorists often work or wait just feet from moving traffic, where speeding, distraction, impairment, and failure to slow down or move over can have devastating consequences. AAA urges drivers to stay alert, drive sober, reduce speed, and move over when safe whenever they approach flashing lights, hazard lights, or a stopped vehicle on the roadside.
Slow Down, Move Over
Slow Down, Move Over laws help reduce roadside risk by requiring drivers to slow down and, when possible, move over one lane when approaching stopped emergency vehicles, tow trucks, and other service vehicles. These laws are more than a legal requirement—they are a simple, lifesaving action that gives roadside workers and stranded motorists the space they need to stay safe.
