Who can I add to my Membership?

Membership

As a Primary AAA Member, you can share the benefits of membership by adding eligible individuals from your household to your account. Typically, you can add:
  • Up to one (1) Associate Member
  • Up to five (5) Dependent Associate Members

Here’s who qualifies for each type:

  • Associate Member: Usually defined as a spouse or another adult who permanently resides in the same household (shares the same primary residence address) as the Primary Member.
  • Dependent Associate Member: Typically a child or legal ward of the Primary Member who resides in the same household.
    • Student Exception: The same-residence requirement generally does not apply if the Dependent Associate Member is a student temporarily living away from home while attending school.
