Two types of
AAA Battery Services are offered to Members when they encounter battery issues.
The first option is a simple jump start to quickly get you back on the road.
The second option is to send a battery service* technician to your vehicle. The battery service technician can test the vehicle's battery, starter, and charging system. If the battery fails the test, Members may purchase a AAA-branded battery, which the technician will install for the Member. (Some labor-intensive installations may require additional charges.) Due to safety concerns, the installation may be at a nearby location rather than the original service site.
AAA offers transferable warranties: If vehicle ownership is transferred to another AAA Member, the battery warranty will transfer. The warranty will not transfer if the battery is moved to another vehicle or if the vehicle’s ownership is transferred to a non-AAA Member.
If these do not work, you also have the option to have the vehicle towed.
