There's no doubt that traffic is getting worse every day. Speeding, along with impaired and distracted driving, are causing significant increases in traffic collisions, injuries, and fatalities.
This makes it very difficult for all of us here at AAA—and all first responders and roadside workers—to do our jobs safely.
Always be on the lookout.
Whenever you see a tow truck, stranded vehicle, or emergency vehicle on the side of the road with flashing lights, please slow down and move over a lane if it's safe to do so.
Taking this precaution is the right thing to do—for everyone. It's also the law.
