Yes, AAA Membership includes fuel delivery. All Membership plans include four service requests per Member. Our technicians will come to you, whether your vehicle is stranded roadside or at the grocery store. (Classic Members pay for fuel.)
AAA Classic Members pay for fuel at market rate; fuel delivery is included with Membership. AAA Plus and AAA Premier Memberships include fuel (enough to get to the nearest gas station) and delivery.
AAA Roadside Membership includes emergency fuel delivery as one of its benefits.
To get help, AAA Members should:
- Call 800-222-4357, request roadside assistance online, or use the AAA Mobile App.
- Request roadside assistance, share your location, and specify the type of fuel your vehicle uses.
- Wait for a technician to arrive at your location to refuel your vehicle. (If you have the AAA Mobile App, you can track the technician’s location in real time.) You’ll need your AAA Membership Card or digital Membership card.

Yes, AAA can deliver enough diesel fuel to reach the nearest gas station. When calling AAA to request roadside assistance, make sure to specify your vehicle's fuel type as technicians may not always carry extra diesel fuel on their truck. A tow will be provided if diesel fuel is unavailable. (Classic Members pay for the cost of fuel.)
For electric vehicles that have run out of charge, AAA Roadside Assistance can provide a tow to a charging station or to your home. Towing distance varies by plan.
