What is Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)?
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is a common security measure that requires users to verify their identify using two or more different methods. At AAA, you will be asked to verify your identify using a verification code before you sign into MyPolicy. This ensures that only authorized individuals can access your sensitive insurance information, providing an enhanced layer of protection for your insurance data.


Why do I need to set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)?
At AAA, the security of your personal and insurance information is our top priority. Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) helps to ensure that only authorized individuals can view or manage your sensitive insurance information.

 

How does Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) work?

  1. Follow the same process you do every time you sign into MyPolicy
  2. After you enter your email and password, a screen asking you to verify your email address will appear
  3. A verification code will be sent to the email address you used to sign into MyPolicy from either [email protected] OR [email protected]. It may take up to two minutes for the code to arrive
  4. Retrieve the code from your email, enter it on the screen, and click on the “Verify” button – you will be signed in to MyPolicy
 

Note: The first time you sign into MyPolicy, the system will ask you to “set up” a factor. Email is the only option, and you will select “confirm” and move forward to a screen to send you the code.
 

What if I don't receive this email?
Please allow up to 2 minutes for the email to arrive. If you still don't see it, please check your spam or junk mail folders, as it may have been filtered there. If this email goes to your junk/spam folder, please mark it as a Safe Sender or trusted email.

 

What should I do if I experience problems or don't receive the email after checking my spam folder?

What should I do if I cannot access my email?
If you are unable to access your account email, please submit an online inquiry at  https://mwg.aaa.com/frequently-asked-questions/ask.


Is this a one-time process, or will i need to verify my account regularly?
Once fully authenticated, the session will last for seven (7) days across all CSAA applications if you click the "remember me" checkbox.
