What DMV services are available at AAA branches in Nevada?

Yes, AAA is pleased to offer current Members access to select Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) services at most of our branches in Nevada.

Available Services Typically Include:

  • Renew vehicle registration
  • Obtain duplicate registration certificates and temporary operation permits
  • Get replacement registration stickers
  • Order personalized or duplicate license plates¹
  • Reinstate vehicle registrations suspended due to an insurance lapse²
  • Register vehicles brought in from out of state¹
  • Obtain disabled person placards and plates¹
  • Print out driver history reports²
  • Get International Driving Permits (IDP)

Requirements for Service: Please bring the following when you visit:

  • Your valid AAA Membership card.
  • Your valid Nevada driver's license or identification card.
  • Necessary DMV paperwork for your transaction.
  • Note: For transactions involving a specific vehicle, the Member requesting service must have their name listed on the vehicle's title or registration.

Payment & Kiosk Information:

  • Payments can usually be made via cash, credit card, or debit card.
  • Some AAA branches also host DMV-in-a-box self-service kiosks. These kiosks handle select transactions, charge a small service fee, and typically do not accept cash payments².
