President’s Letter: Reflecting on the Opportunities Ahead
There really is more to AAA than you might think.
Another year has come and gone, and hopefully you all had a wonderful holiday season, taking the time to recharge—as best you could—with family and friends. If anything, the past two years have been a reminder of what really matters most in life.
As 2022 gets under way, we’ll have some lingering struggles to contend with, but plenty of new opportunities, too. As I reflect on the past year and look to what’s ahead, it’s clear that while some degree of normalcy has returned, we can’t sit back and assume that the status quo will suffice. Far from it.
At AAA, we’ve learned that helping our Members better understand the benefits of Membership has never been more important. For instance, as the trend of people spending more time online continued, we increased our efforts to better inform you of the potential threats to your online identity, by including with your Membership an essential level of protection through AAA Identity Champion. Plus, we improved the usability and experience of our AAA Mobile App, giving you even greater access to much-needed benefits such as roadside assistance, discounts, and more.
Furthermore, your Membership affords you significant savings on a host of outstanding services. Members can take advantage of exclusive discounts when bundling their AAA Insurance coverages (auto, home, life, and specialty), adding home security solutions and 24/7 monitoring services from AAA Smart Home, and ensuring quality maintenance and service for your vehicles at AAA Auto Repair Centers.
Members can also visit their local AAA branch office to take advantage of select DMV transactions, notary services, and complimentary travel planning assistance for when you’re ready to take your next trip. (Be sure to check in advance with your branch as to the availability of these specific services.)
There really is more to AAA than you might think. You can learn more just by visiting our website or one of our branches, as well as reading the many great articles found in this issue of Via. And we have plans to continue to enhance your Membership and deliver even more value to you as the year progresses.
For now, please know that we are here for you when you need us. Please continue to stay safe—no matter where the road of life takes you.
