#AAAProud: Crystal Davis
Meet Crystal Davis. After experiencing exceptional AAA roadside assistance, Crystal was inspired to build a career at AAA. She dedicates her time to delivering the same legendary service to Members every day.
What makes you proud to work at AAA?
AAA is known for going above and beyond, and I am so happy to be a part of that. Also, I get to educate Members on how important insurance is and how it can protect them.
What made you decide to work for AAA?
I decided to work for AAA after my car broke down on a road trip with a friend. I was freaking out because I knew I didn’t have the money for a tow. My friend called AAA. I was surprised by how quickly a tow driver arrived, and he made me feel like I was in great hands. Because of this experience, I knew AAA was right for me!
What AAA values (humility, integrity, teamwork, service) have you leaned on to remain resilient?
Teamwork is a huge value for me. I truly believe that we are better together. I leaned on my tenured co-workers during training very heavily, and they helped me feel comfortable as a new Team Member. I credit my success to them.
What is your Proudest AAA moment?
My proudest moment happened during a call with an elderly woman shopping for insurance. She was in tears over her claims experience with another company. By the end of the call, I knew she was convinced we’d go above and beyond to make the claims process easy. She’s referred me to her family members since and keeps in touch with me.
Why do you like working here and what motivates you to come to work every day?
What really gets me out of bed each morning is knowing that I’m making a difference in someone's life by ensuring they’re educated and taken care of by the best insurance company in their time of need.
What would people be surprised to learn about you? (e.g., hobby, fun fact, etc)
Because my father was in the U.S. Air Force, I was born in Germany and lived there for 3 years. Unfortunately, none of the language stuck. Also, my two boys -- born three years apart -- share the same birthday.
