President's Letter: As Summer Turns to Fall
Cozy season is upon us.
The passing of summer and the approaching fall always causes me to pause, to think about the summertime activities I did (and did not quite get to), and what I might still be able to accomplish before winter sets in. It also reminds me that autumn is a special season in and of itself, with the changing colors as weather transitions us to cozy season. Out West, we may not be able to compete with the vibrant leaf peeping that you can find in the Northeast, but we still have plenty of opportunities to experience fall foliage.
This issue of Via is filled with autumn adventures from visiting corn mazes to our Members’ favorite pumpkin patches. Plus, we highlight some useful tips and tricks on selecting the right smart home products for a rental home or apartment, as well as how to buy tires for your car.
Speaking of tips, if keeping you and your loved ones secure at home is important to you, I recommend you check out our AAA Smart Home Security services—the best value in home security and fire protection. As you gear up for holiday travel, Smart Home’s professional monitoring ensures you can check on your house from anywhere, 24 hours a day, with our easy-to-use app that alerts you to the presence of potential intruders.
With winter only a few months away, now is an ideal time to make sure your car’s tires are in good shape, windshield wipers work well, and headlights are clean and bright. Swing by your local AAA Auto Repair Center and they’ll be happy to make sure your car is cold-weather road ready.
Until next time (our winter print issue), please remember to take care of yourself and those around you, and continue to be safe. And for those times when you need us, we’ll be there.
