Lillian Cunningham is the creator and host of several award-winning podcasts for the Washington Post. Her first podcast, Presidential, brought millions of listeners on a deeply reported journey through the lives and legacies of each American president. Most recently, Field Trip investigated the messy past and uncertain future of America’s national parks and took listeners across these beloved landscapes, from the sequoia groves of Yosemite to the tundra of Gates of the Arctic. Field Trip is a 2024 duPont-Columbia award finalist.
Lillian joined the Post in 2010 as a business reporter, winning two Emmy Awards for her video interviews with leaders across politics, business, and the arts. She’s currently a contributing reporter for the Post.
