What do I need to complete my MVD tasks at AAA?
- Your valid AAA Membership Card2
- Your valid driver’s license, government-issued identification card, or MVD ID card
- Your MVD paperwork (note that your name must be on the vehicle title or registration)
- A form of payment (we accepts most major credit cards; we do not accept cash or checks)
For vehicle-related transactions, you must be a AAA Member and be the registered owner of the car or the vehicle title is in your name.

Frequently Asked Questions: AAA MVD Services
While you can accomplish many MVD-related services at AAA, you unfortunately cannot apply for a REAL ID at AAA Branches in California, Arizona, Alaska, Nevada, Utah, or Wyoming.
You can, however, renew or replace your REAL ID at Montana branches.

To schedule a MVD appointment at your local AAA Branch:
- Find your AAA Branch.
- Click on the branch location to display its location page.
- Click on the Schedule an Appointment button.
- A form will appear. Enter your name and phone number, then press Continue.
- A list of available services will pop up. Choose MVD.
- A list of MVD services available at your branch will appear. Choose one and then click on Schedule an Appointment.
- Choose your preferred appointment date and time from the available options.
For your convenience, many AAA Branches offer extended hours and are open on Saturday.
