Custom-built for the Mississippi River

The five-deck ship—currently under construction in St. Louis—is designed specifically to sail the Mississippi River. Its cutting-edge design, expansive windows, all outside staterooms and comfortable amenities will make it the largest and most modern cruise ship in the region. Get ready to explore the Mississippi River with Viking—no other waterway in the country has played such an important role in America's history, commerce and culture.

Viking Suites

The ship will have some of the largest true suites on the river, with every suite featuring two rooms and a full-size veranda off a spacious sitting room. Suite guests receive early stateroom access; expanded double-sink bathroom; mini-bar with alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, water and snacks replenished daily; welcome champagne; and laundry, pressing and shoe shine services.

Explorers' Lounge

Situated near the bow of the ship, the sun-filled, two-story Explorers' Lounge has floor-to-ceiling windows that open to The Bow, a unique outdoor seating area at the front of the ship where guests can enjoy ever-changing riverside views. Sip a mint julep as you pass picturesque towns and boom cities and take in views of pastoral farms and towering bluffs on a voyage through America's heartland.

Dining Options On Board

The Restaurant, the main dining venue on Deck 1, will feature menus highlighting delicious regional cuisine, along with classic dishes prepared with fresh, local ingredients. From American classics to Mamsen's® Norwegian specialties, the indoor/outdoor River Cafe on the top deck will offer alternative restaurant dining in a casual al fresco setting. Also on the top deck, Aquavit Terrace will provide a casual dining space ideal for an American barbecue experience.
