Does Total Protection cover fire damage?

If your system also has a AAA Smart Home Security-monitored smart smoke detector, this coverage extends to loss due to a fire. (This does not include wildfires.)

What's a monitored fire alarm?

A monitored smoke detector is one that connects to monitoring centers so that if it senses fire when you’re not home, it can alert the fire department. The monitored heat and smoke detector from AAA Smart Home Security is always on, so even if your system is disarmed, it can still call for help if it senses a threat and monitoring is active.

How do I submit a claim?

Call us at 866-957-1340 to begin the reimbursement process. We will need you to fill out a form and send us some documents from your claim. Deductible reimbursements take about 10 business days on average to process.
